After connecting with the provider, you will receive an email invitation link to Therapy Appointment and providers contact information. You will need to create a profile via this link, including user name and password. From here you will be able to complete electronic consents, fill out insurance information if applicable, securely store a credit card on file, and enter biographical information. This is where you will also be able to access tele therapy sessions, manage upcoming appointments, and secure email provider.
Paperwork must be completed prior to the first session. IF you plan to use insurance, this information needs to be completed on your profile 48 hours prior to first appointment, so that it can be verified. Please read through and make note of any questions you have about policies listed in the electronic consent paperwork, and review any questions you have at your first session.

Sessions are 50 minutes long. During this session your practitioner will introduce themselves and briefly go over any questions you have (on policies, payments, insurance, general process, scheduling). When these housekeeping items are out of the way the floor is yours and you can begin sharing what you feel is important for your practitioner to know. The practitioner will ask you questions to better understand your goals and concerns.

Fee is $150 per session. Current insurance plans accepted are BCBS and Aetna. Individual insurance policies and session charges vary based on your insurance plan. Please inquire specifics from the practitioner or your insurance company.
Superbills can be provided upon request, if you are planning to file using out of network benefits through your insurance company.

We have a 24 hour cancellation policy meaning that if you are unable to attend your session we ask for a 24 hour notice via email or text in order to avoid paying the cancellation fee. We find that the cancellation policy both honors the work of the practitioner and the time carved out to work with you individually.

Therapy Appointment has a secure (password protected) emailing system. This is where any clinical information or questions can be communicated for established clients. You may use this emailing system or my general email for any scheduling or administrative questions. Work cell is to only be texted when requesting entrance to locked building for appointment or to notify of late arrival or last minute cancels. I will do my best to reply to communication within 24-48 hours, however this varies dependent on office hours and availability.

When working with minors, treatment plans are individualized, however parent consults and family work can be key in seeing progress within the minor and within the home. The structure of privacy within the minor’s sessions will be discussed at beginning of therapy and agreed upon by parents and the minor.
If there are concerns in between sessions, secure email communication through Therapy Appointment is accepted. If there is a need to speak to the provider outside of sessions (minor sessions, pre-set parent consults, or family sessions) times will be offered for a parent consult via phone, tele therapy, or in office depending on availability and will be charged based off hourly rate.

Each person is unique, including what is important for them in matters of faith, religion, and spirituality. The individual practitioner will respect what your faith, religious, or spiritual practices (or lack thereof) look like in your life. Discussions of faith, religion, and spirituality are a welcome part of the therapeutic process, but the goal is that the client would be able to figure out what is meaningful for them versus aligning with the beliefs or lifestyle of the individual practitioner.
